An 11-court tennis centre
Want to have fun while getting fit? Have you thought of tennis? It’s a complete sport that works the whole body, develops co-ordination and promotes concentration. Whether you’re a novice or regular player, you can enjoy the tennis facilities all year round. Courts can be hired by the hour or by subscription (book here).
Courses, group or individual lessons are available for children and adults at all levels. During school holidays, “multi-racquet tournaments” combining ping-pong, badminton, padel and mini tennis are organised so you can come and enjoy yourself with family or friends.
The Maxime Merlin tennis centre is at the heart of the Bagnole de l’Orne’s sports village. The building houses five indoor tennis courts with a terbal (a type of artificial clay) surface and a padel court.
Outdoors, there six hard courts so you can play in the open air. Two courts are just next to the indoor courts while four more are behind the swimming pool. Bagnoles’ tennis club regularly organises competitions for those with a French Tennis Federation licence.
