A la découverte des poiriers en fleurs

A day exploring the bocage by mini-bus, bike, foot, motorcycle or car...

The program includes a welcome at the Salle de la Rencontre from 9am.
There you can pick up your questionnaires for the treasure hunt and egg hunt (with prizes).

A 10 km run through the bocage and orchards for the 11th edition of its spring foot race, "La Course des Poiriers en fleurs".

Race details:
On an undulating 10.2 km course, runners will cross a varied and authentic landscape, typical of the Domfront bocage. After setting off from Place de la Mairie in Mantilly, the course follows small local roads past the Dolmen de la Table au diable and the Chapelle de l?Oratoire de Passais. At the end of a 10.2 km loop, runners cross the finish line in Mantilly.

La Course des Poiriers en fleurs" is a walking race created by two passionate runners, in collaboration with the Mantilly town council and local producers, to promote the wealth of the Domfront region. These include the bocage landscape and local produce - Mantilly is the capital of Poiré - making this race both a sporting and convivial event.
A bottle of Poiré and a jam are offered to each participant at the finish. And local baskets are to be won by drawing lots with the race numbers.

The race is supported by the Andaine-Passais communauté de communes, the Parc Naturel Régional Normandie-Maine, the Conseil départemental de l'Orne and Crédit Agricole de Normandie.

Race starts at 10 a.m. Final registration and number collection from 8:30am at the Mairie.
