Clinging proudly to its rocky outcrop, like a wise old man who's seen too much, Domfront castle has many stories to tell.

Built from the 11th century onwards, it has survived sieges, battles and the ravages of time... well, almost!

Through an architectural reading of the ruins, supported by archaeological discoveries and clues left in the stone, this tour invites you to piece together the puzzle of almost 1,000 years of history.

Ambitious lords, daring knights, epic battles and skilfully woven plots, the Middle Ages open their doors to you.

And for the more curious, we invite you to extend the adventure with a visit to the medieval city at 3:30pm.
