Equirando

The Equirando is coming to Normandy, and more specifically to Bagnoles de l?Orne Normandie, for its 55th edition!

From July 25 to 27, 2025, Équirandins - as the event?s participants are known - will be in the heart of the Andaine forest, immersed in nature in an exceptional setting. Viking, the Percheron mascot, will accompany the Equirandins on this convivial adventure!

Équirando is Europe?s biggest equestrian tourism event, bringing together riders and drivers practicing outdoor riding.

For over 60 years, this CNTE/FFE event has become a long-standing tradition of equestrian tourism. The principle is simple: each participant can set off from wherever he or she wishes and reach the finishing point by covering more than 100 kilometers with a horse, donkey or mule, whether mounted or harnessed. Riders can organize their stages as they wish, discovering the regions they cross at their own pace. Departures can take place over a week or several months, in France or abroad. Itineraries may vary, but they all lead to the same place.

Participants from all walks of life, known as Équirandins, are invited for 3 days of festivities in a privileged setting.

The Equirando Organizing Committee, the CRTE Normandie and Bagnoles de l'Orne Normandie, are preparing a superb 2025 edition. bagnoles de l'Orne Normandie, a "Petite Cité de Caractère®", is an ideal location for nature lovers, and is particularly well-suited to welcoming the 1,000 horseback riders expected for the event. Riders and the general public will live to the rhythm of the horses? hooves over the course of a festive weekend, with shows, an exhibition village, a grand parade and other activities taking place on site!
