At the foot of the Casino and the Haute Ville, the beach is overlooked by a pleasant pedestrian promenade: the Promenade du Plat Gousset. In summer, bathing cabins are available for hire. At low tide, a seawater pool is uncovered, allowing bathing at any time of day. During high tide, the spectacle of waves breaking on the promenade is impressive. A number of hotels and restaurants are close by - visit the Christian Dior Museum
Once the childhood home of the famous couturier, the museum is a place of memory dedicated to the life and work of Christian Dior, from his childhood in Granville to the worldwide success of his fashion house.
The villa "Les Rhumbs" is set in a remarkable Belle Epoque garden overlooking the sea, opposite the Chausey archipelago. Every summer, a temporary exhibition is held on the theme of fashion created by Christian Dior and the fashion house that bears his name.
