Sées, a small city of character in the heart of the Orne region, well known for its cathedral, which stands out in the middle of the Normandy countryside, has many other treasures for you to discover. Take a 3 km walk through its narrow streets, and discover the history of the town and its dozen or so listed monuments. Discover the evidence of religious life (bishop?s palace, basilica, former episcopal palace, etc.), the commercial life of yesteryear (Place des Halles) and its green spaces (Cours des Fontaines, Jardin d?Argentré, etc.). A visit to this medieval-scented town would be incomplete without a visit to its cathedral, emblematic of the Norman Gothic style, with its spires rising to a height of 70 m. Built in the 13th and 14th centuries, it is a model of light and verticality in the service of faith.
