On an empty table, two actresses in overalls ask us: what was there before life? Where do we come from? Who was the first man? With humor and poetry, Lara Hubinont and Jasmina Douieb explore these age-old questions in a story inspired by Greek mythology.

Their whimsical tale recounts the birth of Gaia, mother of the earth, and the epic adventure of her descendants div ins, in a richly visual universe. Everyday objects, puppets and shadow puppets combine to create zany, offbeat tableaux.

Kosmos is an invitation to reflect on what connects us all, beyond our cultural and social differences. A show with a burlesque, transformist aesthetic, in which the actresses move seamlessly from storytelling to object manipulation, to the delight of young and old alike.
