Mad Jacques Véloscénie Normandie 2025

The Mad Jacques is a series of unique sporting adventures, where the aim is to discover, have fun and excel. Several formats are available, including hitchhiking, cycling and walking. Each adventure lets you explore picturesque territories while taking on challenges, in a friendly, offbeat atmosphere. This is a non-competitive race with participants from all over France.

The concept? It's more than just a race: it's a human experience where meeting and sharing with other participants and locals is as important as the sporting feat. Whether you're a competitor at heart or simply curious, the Mad Jacques is above all an extraordinary adventure!

In 2025, the Mad Jacques will take you on a voyage of discovery through the Manche and Orne regions, following the route of the Véloscénie, one of France?s major cycling routes linking Paris to Mont-Saint-Michel. Participants will have the opportunity to cover sections of the Véloscénie while discovering the charms of the Normandy hinterland: deep forests, peaceful bocage, and architectural treasures such as castles and abbeys.

As always, this edition is aimed at both experienced cyclists and those seeking adventure on their bikes. The route offers two trail options, suitable for different levels of cyclist, with "terroir" checkpoints where you can meet the locals and sample local produce.
The idea? Enjoy the journey, take your time to explore and share unforgettable moments with other participants. It's the perfect opportunity to discover the region in a different way, while taking up the challenge of the route.
