Based on the play of the same name by Eugène Ionesco

At the outset, the situation is not at all natural. A teacher welcomes his young pupil for private lessons. She learns what she is taught. The teacher is authoritarian and his pupil mischievous: it's the natural order of things. But very quickly, this familiar mechanism goes haywire and spirals out of control?

How can we share knowledge and create a desire to learn?
Transmitting, learning, imposing: there's a fine line between the two. What happens when it's crossed?
This is the subject of Robin Renucci?s next creation, which unfolds in a playful, poetic scenography (echoing Ionesco?s theater of the absurd) and close to the audience.
Robin Renucci will be the teacher, while contortionist Inès Valarcher will be the pupil, conveying through her circus skills and her body the expression of pain underlying the absurdity of the text. Finally, the maid Marie is played by Christine Pignet, who uses her comedic strength to turn anxiety into laughter.
