Become a craftsman for a day in the heart of the medieval village
Want to step back in time and roll up your sleeves? Immerse yourself in the atmosphere of a medieval village for a day and discover the skills and traditions of yesteryear through artisan workshops led by passionate experts.
Throughout the day, several workshops are offered simultaneously: blacksmithing, calligraphy, stone carving, wattle-and-daub, and cob building? So many opportunities to try out traditional techniques, understand the materials, and experience the simple yet essential daily routines of medieval life. Each participant can try their hand at a workshop of their choice in a friendly and immersive atmosphere. Between demonstrations, discussions, and hands-on activities, let the volunteers guide you and leave with a unique experience—and perhaps a new passion!


Where? Medieval Village (PVMD project site)
Meeting point: in the parking lot along Rue du Champ-Passais—entrance on Rue du Lavoir (across from the tennis courts)
Who is it for? All ages (minimum age 12 required depending on the workshop)
Duration: Full day (10:00 AM – 6:00 PM) – workshops lasting approximately 20 minutes
Format: Site access + participation in workshops of your choice (4–5 workshops offered depending on availability) – no food service available on site; please bring a picnic or visit shops in town.
